Nuffield Health have a wealth of consultants to hand that are leaders in the medical sector. Their profiles on NuffieldHealth.com are key pages for users to understand which consultant is best to treat their medical needs. In testing the profiles with users however, there was a real lack of recall of information from the user, and they were overwhelmed with the amount of information that was being presented.
In undertaking user testing with wireframes and high fidelity prototypes, it was established that users liked as much information as possible, but to make things more digestible, people preferred to see things in clear sections with information grouped together, and accessible via a clear table of contents. The user lead design below featuring these user desired changes resulted in an increase in dwell time, a reduction in bounce rate and overall more positive feedback in lab user testing compared to the original version.
